Really??? Another roadtrip? Another 72?

Yep, I did it again. Gotta learn to say no, but not any time soon...
Just finished another road trip out to Wyoming to pick up a 72 jimmy that has been stored by a friend (sharpie) for the winter. Needs plenty of work, but has potential. About 1800 miles and a couple of junkyard stops along the way. Enjoy the pics...

Re: Really??? Another roadtrip? Another 72?

Couple more pics... Ran into a little snow along the way. Looks like a rebuilt trans too. Not running at the moment so mechanicals are unknown.

Was fun, and you HAVE to stop at yards if you find them.

Some pics for your documents on highlander and single wall tops.
So what color steering wheel would be in this? I assume the "grayish" dash pad and column are correct? (sandalwood?)
Still has the correct 72 splash pans for the rear bumper too...

Re: Really??? Another roadtrip? Another 72?

GMC sure did some funky things with colors. They even put on a driver's side fender to match the dash pad.
