Billit grill hood latch?
I'm installing a billit grill in my 69 using a 72 shell and latch assembly. Since I can no longer access the latch thru the grill, I was thinking of either welding on an extention or going with some kind of remote. Any idea's?

Try search, this has been covered in the past. I seem to remember that some used a rod that went down to where you reach under the bumper to open the latch, and also some used a remote cable type hood release kit from J.C. Whitney. Keep us posted, I'm thinking of getting one myself.

Hey Barn 9 Thanks for the help. I found the post you were talking about, I went with the extention rod, it was easy and seems to work fine.

Glad you found the thread,I had a neat set up on the burb, put a bracket on the bottom of the radiator support and a hime joint in the bottom of the latch with a rod running through the bracket on the support it worked fine.
