New Member Truck Pics!

Hello

I thought I would introduce myself. My name is Jason and I am from Oregon. I just recently found this site and it is awesome. I have been into 67-72 trucks since I was in HS.

I thought I would post a picture of my Truck too. That way you guys can put a Truck with the name!

Keep up the good info.

Details: 1971 C-10, 427, M-20 4 speed, 4/6 drop, 20s

Haha! Awesome shifter, I used to have a shorty like that (hurst), it was awesome for short shifts, but after a while I got a bit longer one because my back was getting sore

I'm liking the cleanliness of the truck. Good work.

I am 24 now. My grandpa bought me this truck on my 15th b-day... May 19 1996. Of course it didnt look this way.

My dad and I did a frame off. All frame, suspension and accents were painted silver and put together with new parts. side markers, bed pockets, stereo, ash tray, taigate, gas tank fill were all filled. Rod Doors interior. Auto meter guages in glove box door relocated to driver side(not bad idea for a 16yr old at the time). I had a built 327 and th350 for most of the trucks life so far. Finished the truck my senior year HS 1999. Went to college... truck sat for 4 years. 2 years ago when done with college put in the 427 and recently put in the 4-speed and added the 20s.

Plan to do bags this fall.

I also recently restored a 71 k-10 longbed 4wd cheyenne w/ factory air. Dont have any pics yet.

Hey man, I'm in Oregon too. On my 15th B-Day (May-19 1992) I was driving (stealth) a 1967 Bug that I had done a few things to: 1835cc, dual webbers, headers, dropped, one piece windows, Empi wheels, etc. Thank God I rolled that thing, cuz that's when I bought my '61 and never looked back. Your truck looks good. I love manuals behind big engines. My '61 is an LS1 (not big but )with a 6-Speed.
