Re: Trying to finish up a winter project
Thanks guys, some of the paint is I think. But most of it is a late 70s paint job. Truck was in storage for 30 some years. It still had dry rotted tires from the 70s when i bought it off a 70 year old man. I completely rebuilt the front susp, all new control arm bushing & shafts, ball joint etc. New drop spins, disc brakes, corvette master etc. full air ride with firestone bags, cpp C notch, shocks, trac bar etc. 350/ 350 trans. Still need to button a few things up but I got to pull it out of the garage yesterday & go up & down the street. Can't wait to get it on the road. |

Re: Trying to finish up a winter project
You said button up. LOL
I can tell you from experience every detail of the work he has done has been under a microscope. I have never seen so much attention to detail on everything (even the things that dont matter) I cannot tell you how much has been gone over on this truck and how many times I was called about it. Everything from running the lines to fittings to the notch has been done meticulously. I just cant wait to see the damn thing on the road already. Come on Mano, so you almost lost a finger, get off your boat and get this thing done! LOL

Well Tim I guess your right, he has been baeting my ear for the last five months to paint the wheels black!!! I have pretty torn betweeen red, cream, & new smoothies & shannon caps. The funny part was I just mounted the wheels for mock up & popped the caps on. Funny how that works out. |

Re: Trying to finish up a winter project
wow im glad everyone likes it I planed on painting the wheels red & putting on same size tires whit wide whites. I dunno maybe better leave them black with no whites. Save 900 buck lol. I dont have many build pics but I see what I have,

Re: Trying to finish up a winter project
I think that would look great, but I wouldn't touch it myself. Can always do that later if you need a change.

Re: Trying to finish up a winter project
I do try to make it down for the Beaver cruise & beaver falls cruise. The Beaver cruise is the best cruise of the year. But It always seems to be on the week I go on vaction. Im sure you have seen my other truck I either drive this down or my super sport chevelle.

I really like the contrast between the different wheel/tire choices.
