I bought the summit poly fuel cell with the sending unit and I wanted to know if someone can tell me if both outlets needed to be hooked up?Also does the vent line need to be connected somewhere or do I just run a line from it?Any info will be greaty appreciated.

Re: Summit fuel cell hook up
are you talking about the two fuel hookups on the back? If so just use one and run it to filter/engine, and plug the other. On the vent line I just run a hose off of it long enough to point it to the ground but im not sure if you even need to do that

Re: Summit fuel cell hook up
yep What he said. The only difference I would say is, Put a check valve on the vent line to prevent leaking in the event of a roll over.

Re: Summit fuel cell hook up
I believe the extra one could be used as a return line. Heres mine the only bad thing is the crossmember for the for the bed runs right across the fill spot. I plan on moving the fill spot to the corner of the tank

Re: Summit fuel cell hook up
How ever you deal with the vent line, be sure it reaches high enough so that fuel does not siphon out during to-the-top fill-ups.
