Thanks guys!!!
Thanks alot guys! I thought I would post some before pics, and a few pics of it now.
This is our first restoration. ALOT more work than we thought to start I guess it is always that way. The blazer looked "pretty" rust free to start with, but after we stripped it we had to replace almost everything except the bedsides, hood and bed. We did all the work ourselves except the body work and the paint. I love driving it, but am anxious for my hubby to put in the power brakes...my right thigh is getting buff! Ha Ha We still don't have the hatch on, and the windows in the top, but it makes it nice on the hot days cause you still get a nice breeze in there- believe it or not it was almost 90 degrees a few days ago! Anyways here are the before pics... |

Here is a pic some of the paperwork (protecto plate)- This guy kept EVERYTHING!!! Pretty cool to have though. We are NEVER selling this blazer- to much heart and sweat went into this one. We tell our 5 year old that this is his we he grows up...and no WAY are we giving it to him the day he turns 16..I was 16 once, but more importantly I have heard stories of my hubby at 16
The kids car seats fit in the back great- and they LOVE the wireless headsets and DVD/flip down 10.5" flat screen that Ken installed in the roll bar. |
