Looking for a post about sealed rocker boxes?
Im currently building my blazer and fixing some rust on the rocker boxes. I read a post once about a guy who completely sealed his rocker boxes so no water or mud could get it. Is there anything wrong with doing that? My stock boxes had over 2 inches of mud in them.

I think it would be better to modify them so the water/debris runs out of them easier and then you can spray them out and coat the inside/outside of the boxes with some heavy duty paint/POR.

But why not just seal them up completely??? No need to wash em out if they dont ever get dirty... Maybe a drip hole or something if that?

You will never be able to seal them up completely, because water will find it's way in there. Even if only a bit gets in there, the lack of ventilation will expedite the corrosion. Like someone already mentioned, I would make the drain holes larger to help remove any debris a lot easier. IMHO.

But there are gaps and holes on these that just shoot mud and dirty and debri in there. I want to seal up the big gaps. Leave a drain hole. I suck at searching, because i just read a thread where a guy did this and of course i cant find it.

I think completely sealed would be much better!
I don't know if you could just seam seal the sheetmetal joints of the rocker boxes or if they would need to be welded. Either way I would want all the body panels aligned with doors that shut good. (With or without the top)
