Complete NOS Jac Pac (aka Pleasur-lift) air ride system

Cool setup but I don't foresee using this NOS Jac Pac system on any of my 4wd rigs (and won't be buying a muscle car anytime soon) so offering for sale. $480 shipped in CONUS for the complete Jac Pac system. I do not know if the shocks are correct length for a pickup but glad to measure.

Would consider partial trade for an excellent OEM green dash pad and/or excellent green OEM 69-72 steering wheel.

Available SEPARATELY (first right of refusal to buyer of the complete Jac Pac setup) are:
1) a set (two) of NOS Pleasur-lift rear shocks
2) the older style but also NOS (Pleasur-lift) interior controller
3) and two spare NOS Jac Pac/Pleasur-lift vacuum controllers (not shown)

Would you be interested in selling the instruction sheet and any other literature? Need this for my Jac Pak kit.

Re: Complete NOS Jac Pac (aka Pleasur-lift) air ride system

Was this a truck accessory or for cars? I am very interested in this. Can you post more pictures of the components involved un this setup? Is there any electrical or is it all vacuum operated?

Re: Complete NOS Jac Pac (aka Pleasur-lift) air ride system

This system was designed for cars, can be used on C-10. It is all vacuum plumped into your intake under the hood. Uses it's own little pump, control level up or down from inside the car.
I also have a complete kit, just missing the instruction sheet, my box is in far better shape that Pete's.
There was also two different design's of the in car control panel, I have both.

Hi Rod -

As Mike mentioned, I believe GM targeted this set up for pass vehicles but I see no reason why it couldn't be used to pump rear air shocks in a C10-30. I am not certain whether or not the shocks are of correct length. I do have both styles of controller and can get more pics after this upcoming weekend. It's a slick period correct set up and I believe Davepl is adding one now to his GMC. I'd love to see it in my brothers 66 GTO but he has no interest oddly enough. All installation parts are there and in good shape. It's vacuum operated. Last I checked the price was reasonable for what other complete systems were being offered at.

Best, Pete

Re: Complete NOS Jac Pac (aka Pleasur-lift) air ride system

Thanks for the info. Could this pump also be used to fill up flat tires? Just a question. Does it just take vacuum from the port behind the carb through a small hose? Just want to make sure this is something I would want on my build. Also do you have both types of control panels Pete?

Re: Complete NOS Jac Pac (aka Pleasur-lift) air ride system

This is Mike answering your questions, I believe Pete is unavailable for a little while. These pumps are pretty small, just enough volume to air up the shocks, not enough for a tire. I believe that's were it get's it's vacuum source.

I know I was just asking Pete if he had both styles because it is his sale thread. I do appreciate the info from you Mike.

Re: Complete NOS Jac Pac (aka Pleasur-lift) air ride system

No problem, I asked Pete a question yesterday, and he p.m. me that he is unavailable for a while. I just checked e-bay to see what is there, a couple of control panels up for bids, and some other systems for sale also. Something to inquire about. Good luck, Mike.

Re: Complete NOS Jac Pac (aka Pleasur-lift) air ride system

Rod, see attached pics - I'll get a measurement of the extra set of shocks. The set itself comes with the purple shocks, obviously passenger vehicle shocks. Written on the box of the other set is "73-75 GMC truck" but I didn't measure yet. Depicted is the second gen controller but I also have the other 1st gen style controller (also NOS) as shown above that I can substitute. Happy to post or text additional pics as needed, LMK. All the parts are there and appear in good shape.

Mike, I have an extra owners booklet for the jac pac system - what's it worth to you?

Best, Pete

Re: Complete NOS Jac Pac (aka Pleasur-lift) air ride system

Thanks for the pic's Pete. I have been thinking about this and I have not figured out how to mount the gauge on the dash in a way I would like so I may be out for a little while. I'm going to try to figure something out. Could you post a picture of the rear of the under dash unit that has the horizontal gauge?

Pete, before I shot you a price, is it possible to get some pics of the booklet? You call it a booklet, is it the original owners manual, or assembly manual? Thanks, Mike.

Mike see last pic in post #14 "Owners Manual" it's actually several pages, not something easily photocopied.

Pete, I also see two other pieces of information right along side the owners manual, are they something you would also sell, as a package deal, with your extra owners manual?

Mike I'll check if those are duplicates - if not I'm happy to text pics. The manual is long enough that I don't anticipate having time in the near future to photocopy.

Pete, thanks for the help. I don't text, prefer paper in my hands, original manuals is what I'm after. What do you think is a fair price for your extra manual? P.m. me if you prefer. Thanks, Mike.
