I am looking for a good glove box door for a 72 super Cheyenne and also need the matching dash bezel. I need good quality as this is for my show truck.

Hi Kev,

Finding a good (show quality) used Super bezel and GB door are going to be a real challenge. Do you have a GB door for a Super now? Does it have the correct tin and emblem?

You may want to consider an aftermarket bezel with the wood grain overlay that has the matching GB overlay.

I am working on a way to get these reproduced but have had no time yet myself to work on it. There is a lot of debate on this subject. Finding the "correct" wood grain to match the original is very difficult.

This is another debate topic. Some will and some will not. I don't really have enough experience to say who has the best overlay that will not peel up. It is a problem and I am sure some others will chime in.

You can use any glove box door and install the Super tin and overlay that PICKMUP has to offer. I would be concerned about the SPID. You can get a reproduction SPID as well.

3M DI-NOC is probably the best overlay material you will find as far as quality.

The thin "decals" everyone sells are not very good. They peal. Counter Part's are better than any others I have seen. I did not take any pics of those.

There are some 3M overlays that are much thicker & nicer. Getting hard to find. I have a few at $40 each. You may be regluing the edges and sanding the holes for a perfect fit, as there are so many different bezels being made, but they won't wrinkle!

The ones on the metal trays (like OEM) seem to be heat pressed and edges are not pealing (yet?). They were offered exclusively by Golden State (maybe repacked GM?) and anyway, have not been available for over 10 years. Thus, they are now in that dreaded category---RARE! $200 + $20 S/H.
