fuse box/panel location on 1955-56?
where would the fuses be located on a 1955-56 chevy truck? thanks I cant seem to find one under the dash of my truck

Back then a fuse panel consisted of a 3 or 4 fuse board and it was optional equipment

all lights are protected at the headlight switch
vacuum wipers require no fuse electric wipers, heater and radio were options, if you have either from the factory there should be a 3 or 4 fuse panel above your brake pedal

seeing as you can't find a fuse panel in your truck, you can add one by wiring it directly from the battery or starter. local parts store may have a 4 fuse panel. you can also use inline fuses but they get a little confusing when you add more than a couple.
i would not add to the current load on the old wiring. lots of us have come off the headlight switch or the horn relay to add circuits, but i believe your asking for trouble by doing this.
