CD Player
I'm ready to install some music into my truck and have 2 questions. Prolly pretty easy but, where's a good place to draw ignition power for the cd deck? And where is the best place to ground this? I should say that there was no radio in it when I bought it and there is no harness or speaker wires under the dash. So i'll have to run new everything. I guess I'm just curious to see if anyone else has tackled this. Also any other pointers or things that I shouldnt forget? Oops thats three!

Your oem fuse panel should have a few unused male blades awaiting females. Check for one that provides power with the ignition & acc on. Easy to run your power wire from there with no splicing into the factory harness.

I ran the battery wire through the firewall and straight to the battery, lost all the alt whine when I did.Power wire to the fuse block, and ran the ground to the plate under the steering column.
