Pinched Bypass Hose....Why???
Anyone have any idea why my bypass hose is pinched like this? Truck came this way. Haven't tried using the heater or air yet. Not sure if it has anything to do with that. This is the hose that runs from the water pump to the thermostat cover. Any idea why this would be rigged this way? I wanna replace the hoses anyways, just curious. Thanks Michael |

Re: Pinched Bypass Hose....Why???
looks like a makeshift redneck engineering for a stuck open thermostat in order to get the heater to work. Maybe?
