van tilt vs non-tilt question

Guys

Im still looking for a steering column wiring cover (hides the turn signal wires).

I wanted to know if any of you happen to have either a tilt or non-tilt column out of a van to see if the column wiring covers are actually different lengths.

Can you post the measurements?

thanks

The GM parts catalogs refer to this t/s switch wire harness cover as a wire guide, we do not have a van non tilt column here in the shop as you asked, but here are some pics showing the OE van tilt column wire guide next to an OE truck tilt column wire guide. The van type wire guide is three inches longer than the truck wire guide, hope that helps with some of your questions. Mel

Glad to help, if you are having a hard time locating the needed van tilt column wire cover/guide, we can be contacted by looking up towards the upper section of the board forum pages in the announcements section, click on the "Help Support Those Who Support Us" tab. It will take you to a list of vendors, find us on that list and once you are logged in we can be reached by clicking on the contact tab next to our name. Let us know, Mel.
