I need transmission cooling lines....
for a 700r4. Where is the best place to purchase these? Fittings on my trans and radiator are tube nuts, don't quite know the size but smaller than 3/8".

Re: I need transmission cooling lines....
You can probably use 3/8 brake line, but you would have to bend it yourself, and possibly cut it to length and reflare it.

Re: I need transmission cooling lines....
The 3/8" I have was my fuel line, but I don't have enough. I can cut it and bend it but would like to know if I can just buy it ready to install.

Re: I need transmission cooling lines....
Try Classic Industries, you can get them in regular or stainless steel. I will be getting the SS kit for my T350. I'm sure others like LMC, The Truck Shop, Brothers, Tuckers, etc.
http://www.classicindustries.com/ Mike EDIT: You may want to call them, their site is difficult to navigate. I remember it took me forever to find the tranny lines, now can't find them again Last edited by BigMike; 06-23-2006 at 01:09 PM. |

Re: I need transmission cooling lines....
www.truckandcarshop.com has SS pre-bent lines for $58.00/pr. I bought mine from them for the TH350 and they fit perfectly.

Re: I need transmission cooling lines....
Fitting size is 5/16" inverted flare...found them at NAPA. Going to run braided line from transmission to AUX cooler...bypassing the hot radiator.
Thanks for everyones help! |
