Door Panels?
Is there anyone who makes door panels that cover the bottom part of the door as well? I would rather buy some than try and make my own, but also don't want to have them custom done because I know interior shops charge quite a bit...

Re: Door Panels?
Rod Doors made the ones I used. First pic is the door panel uncovered, second is the only one I could find of it covered.

Re: Door Panels?
I think I heard RodDoors went out of business... Not sure about that but there are carpet kits you can buy for the bottom of the doors. Not sure if that is what you're after or not but thought I would mention it.

Re: Door Panels?
ACC does carpets, mats, tank covers, bed rugs AND Door Panels...you know the lower 8 or so inches covered in the same carpet that matches your cab floor....

Re: Door Panels?
I was looking into roddoors but they are out of business. =/ I think the carpet kits will work. I'm putting sound deadener on the bottom of the doors as well and want something to cover it.

Re: Door Panels?
Have you thought of putting the sound deadener inside the door... I have 3 or 4 12"x20" sheets of it installed on the outer and inner skin of my door on the inside the cavity. They close with a completely dead thud. Worked great for me and it's completely out of view.

Re: Door Panels?
Maybe they needed a drain hole . All kidding aside, maybe it was somebody's start at some rust repair.

Re: Door Panels?
Might be, I don't know. It's on the passenger side right under where the gas tank ends and that pocket starts. They cut out the one side of it... They had some insulation stuffed in there so I didn't notice until I was putting in my new seats and removed the carpet. On the bright side, now I know where I'm running my 0 and 4 gauge power wire for my amps. Going to weld a new piece on there and cut the holes for the power wire in it with some grommets. Pretty ideal place, just need to figure out what I'm doing for the rear mount gas tank.
