stuck valve?
Some of you may have the thread I made regarding sea foam, well this morning I did my second running of sea foam through the intake. When I went to fire the truck up to flush all of the carbon out, I had what sounds like a stuck valve or lifter in the front of the engine, its a very audible 'ticking'.....not sure how running this through the intake would make a valve stick. Any sure fire cures for stuck valves?
As I type this, I am thinking maybe I should pull the plugs to make sure I didn't just badly foul one of them?

Re: stuck valve?
you might of melted a valve or maybe cracked a piston ring from the disturbed carbon and lead deposits

Re: stuck valve?
I would assume the best way to diagnose either of those issues would be to pull the head?
Is it really likely that I melted a valve or cracked a piston ring?

Re: stuck valve?
Piece of carbon came loose. Remove plugs and crank engine over. It will blow loose stuff out plug hole. (if you are lucky). Or a loose piece of carbon is holding valve off seat. No way you melted a piston. Have steamed cleaned piston tops many times with water dribbled from a bottle with engine running at a fast idle.
