front drum brake spindles and drums - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I replaced the manual drum brakes with power disc. The front spindles, complete with drum,shoes,hardware, etc is available. The drums are believed to be original, as they have the spring around them, and are STILL riveted to the hubs. I am guessing they weigh about 25-30 lbs each, so shipping could be pricey? I am getting tired of stepping over them. make me an offer. I took a couple of pics of them today. email will get you pics. I have had the drums off, and they looked fine when I bought this truck 6 months ago.
