paint!! started today
i know you have been folowing myproject and i was just gonna post pics of it done but ill show these also i layed down the black today its brilliant black met crystal pearlcoat looks killer cant wait to see that pearl in the sun! im waiting overnight to back tape for the orange, its gonna be sunburst met pearlcoat with house of kolors large silver metalflake added in the clear. originally i was gonna have the truck painted but im having alota fun painting it myself its kinda exiting finding out if your bodywork is gonna be up to black standards!
plus this is my 1st complete 2 color job that ive done my teacher helps alot though i cant wait to show this thing off at highschool!! -kyle o yeah no clear yet (duh)

Man, I wish we had an automitove paint booth in school.
Is the back of the bed and cab already wetsanded? Dude, that looks so sweet too. With the engine, it's gonna look a lot like the '69 that was in Classic Truck magazine this month.

i didnt wetsand any paint yet but i got a bit of a dusty booth so i see lots in my future, im gonna be rockin it with out a hood for the time being sood look sweet thanks for all the comlements lil of the gate too

Man, lay the clear on it, cuz you don't want to have to wetsand down into that base, especially with all the metalflake you have in it. Please post lots of step by step pics. Have you got any drawings on how it should look when you finish?......Jerry

just wait till tomarrow and then i can show you the real thing lol were laying the orange in the morning then the flake around 1ish so the whole truck should be cleared by tomarra ill post pics of the steps if you wish -kyle

the guns i used was a sata 90? i belive i bought it off a buddy of mine the dryiers are devilblis (were donated with the booth) ccompresers no clue but part of my dust issue is that this is a se,i down booth we dont have a full downdraft yet thanks for all the good words be sure to post new pics today im goin to auto class right now cant wait -kyle
