balljoint nuts torque on 1970 c10?

How much do you torque the upper balljoint nuts? These are the nuts/bolts that replace where the original rivets were in the a-arm, not the single one at the spindle. I have a manual, but dont see the spec anywhere... Elsewhere I might just take it 50-65 ft lbs, but it'd be nice to know for sure...

Thanks a lot,
Tim

I'd say light pink with a 3/8" ratchet and a wrench. Light pink being the color your face turns when torqueing. Light pink, pink, medium red, red, and purple.

Ha! I would've been the redder shades if this board wasnt here. Maybe sheared one of the bolts at 50 ft/lbs. Thanks much.

they are only 1/4 or 5/16 inch bolts... they can't take too much.
