motivation
Many of us go through phases with these old trucks and I am one of them... I've had my 71 for 14-15 yrs, tried to sell it a couple times.... never went through with it... the truck has sat a bit lately. Bought my older boy a 72 almost 2 yrs ago and tinkered with it a bit (he just got his license this May). Scavenged parts off of mine for his etc, and now his is running really nice, "newish" exhaust put on it today with my old headers, etc.... excited about getting mine road ready again. Just thought I'd share..... I'll include some pics....

Re: motivation
I can totally relate. My 18 year old and I are working on my '71 and may be picking up a suburban.
He gave the truck the name Bessy because of the initials of baby ship yellow. Keep them busy with the best hobby around. Good luck. |
