want some front and rear pics..

i am interested in some front end ideas for a 72. i have no grille or anything at the moment. so i am open for any ideas using the original grille or any thing custom! also any pics of some tailgates, in particular i am curios about different tail light treatments, thanks

I like a blacked out stock egg crate grill with stock polished surround. Stock tail lights look best to me. Maybe add moldings. I try to stay as close to stock as possible so that it stays classy and timeless and will never be dated. When I started building my 67 Camaro in the early 90's, I blacked out all the chrome trim for that 80's-90's Euro look and later hated it. I then had to put back all the trim I removed or blacked out.

yeah i agree! i love the way these trucks look factory, but i am open to suggestion. i plan on going with a kind of chromish blue on the truck, with it totally shaved w minimal chrome.. i like the way the painted eggshell grilles look also. as for tail lights i though they would look good smoked... the ones i have are old and kind of beat up, so i will try to smoke them and see how they turn out before i get new ones.

here's the 71-72 shell i used on my 69 (not the best pic) i had a damaged shell, so repaired & painted to match, then added a billet insert.
