Very nice, I don't care too much for the fender scoop though.

Or the hood louvers, but it's still nice to see them clean and shiny.

Nice truck, would have done something with the spare tire.
Didn't show any motor pics on the auction site.

All it needs is some shiney black paint to carry through on the "Smokey and the Bandit" theme. I appreciate the creativity and skill but I still like 'em stock (shiney or not).

Not that I'm interested, but I see in the "terms of sale" the guy says Canadian buyers must pay gst. Huh?On a used vehicle, since when? Am I missing something here?

Haha that one is from here in kelowna. The guy that owned it used to work at Maaco it got painted there. I can't say I know much about it, but I think it's now owned by a different guy who works at a gas station I think...Don't know if he's trying to pass it off like a business so he can get Gst, but I've never heard of Mike's classics here in Kelowna. Personally I never really liked the truck, those louvers are ugly and he was one of those dudes that would never wave back as you drove past...no sense of 67-72 brotherhood

We got all kinds of taxes up here.. and they vary on what part of the country you live in. Most everyone pays a 7 % GST on any item they buy... Then there is a PST .. provincial sales tax. Which in Manitoba is another 7%. PST varies per province.
Alberta and the territories I believe dont have a PST. Quebec has its own system of taxing. Out east the harmoize the taxes together and call it a HST Harmonized sales tax... does that make it sound any better if its still taxes... I dont think so. Sure we got mostly free medicare ... some provinces charge a fee, if you live that long to get the services you need... but its paid for in taxes.

hahahweird seeing a local truck on here, ilooked at it last fall but didnt buy it,he was asking waay to much, a lot of short cuts have been taken on it, the dude that did the body work and paint worked at maaco and i have a feeling it has a lot of bondo in it, for years it was rustly rattle can primer then he did the paint about a year ago, he sold it to the current owner last fall, he runs a corner store, kinda think he is a crazy mofo, and who knows what he does to this truck....lol id stear clear of this one though, btw he wanted 75 hun last fall when the corner store guy bought it, a little steep if you ask me

I hate louvers! I know some guys like them but just not me. I just wish my truck looked as shiny and nice. It might be a really bad MAACO job but it does look good from the pics. I'm no fan of radical chops or funky scoops but I would trade him for my POS...then get to work on it...LOL!

Interesting grill treatment.
It is a long bed. Notice the center stake holes in the bed rails...short beds don't have them. |
