72 EEC tank into a 69?
So we are working on building a 69 and need to get it running. Will be swapping many new parts from our totaled 1972.
To include a new tank. What will it take to swap that tank in? Can i cap off the return fuel line, as the line is not run on the 69 and it only has the normal 2 line fuel pump? Thanks Larry

Put some sort of permanent plug on the evap line at the tank, and buy a vented cap- which you should already have. As far as the physical fit goes, the cabs interchange, so the tank would too, I expect.

Awesome thanks. I jave some of those small rubber plugs to cap stuff off with. Will put that on and then hose clamp it as well.

As long as that plug is in a location that you can get to later, if it leaks, so you can replace it. That'll probably be many years, though.
