67-72 ToTM 12/04 Nominations
Its time again for ToTM .. This month we will have open nominations once again. Being each month seems to pose a potential arguement I chose this months theme to be "whatever" Whatever means ANYTHING .. parts truck, project, show truck anything as long as it somewhat resembles a 67-72 Chevy or GMC Truck!! If you have a holiday theme to it it might help in the voting this month. First 6 nominations get it. G'luck n happy holidays all ya'll .

I nominate 71402BB's 68 burb. In keeping with the holidays, it's green and gold and has plenty of room for all or Santa's toys! Plus the 250 six with the oilbath air cleaner, PS, and PB is way cooler motivation than Donna or Blitzen!

I would like to nominate Browndawg71 this month.
He has an outstanding truck. Very quick Big Block with nitrous... IN fact here are a few specs from one of Jeffs older posts.... its a 468 ,781 heads w/big valves and pocket ported , 248@ 050 .595 lift solid cam, vic jr. intake, 1000 cfm holley, 10.5 comp, crane roller rockers, trans is a turbo 350 w/ 3500 stall and auburn posi w/3.73s, and big shot nos system. Outstanding paint (I believe Jeff did all the paint and bodywork himself) Oustanding interior. The thing I like about this truck is it is not all show, I was treated to a ride and the truck runs like a scalded dog. Perhaps Jeff will please come on and post some pics and give the specs on the truck I do not have. Regards, Stacey Last edited by Staceydude; 12-06-2004 at 09:03 PM. |

here are some more pics and details on my truck. i bought this at a car lot here in paris for $800 . drove it for awhile and started working on it. had a 6cl and 3 spd when i got it . went with a small block shortly after i got it. me and a coworker did all the body and paint work at my work lowry chevrolet in paris texas. me and a friend built the 468 . we assembled it w/ 781 casting oval ports , solid cam , roller rockers ,forged speed pro pistons, ,vic jr intake, and 1000 cfm holley hp series double pumper. it also has a turbo 350 trans w/ a 3500 tci stall and factory 12 bolt w/ 373s and eaton posi. sorry i didnt have any pics of the interior but it has a diamond pleated seat and all new interior. recently added a goodmark cowl hood and my wife bought me body side mouldings as a 27th birthday present. i have drove this truck to our local and have run(1/8 mile) 7.70s on the motor, and 6.80s on a 200 shot of nitrous , on pump gas.hope you guys like! also, thanx stacydude.

No offense, but that's the first 67-72 that has a cowl induction hood that I like. Awesome rig. Are those slicks?
