z-bar removal tricks?
Hey guys. Does anyone out there have any advice for removing a z-bar on a 71 k10 with a 350? I can't seem to get it to clear the bracket on the frame and I didn't want to break anything. Thanks

Re: z-bar removal tricks?
Do you have the nut off of the stud and the stud turned so it will slide out of the slot? (There are two flats on the stud which when aligned with the slot, will allow the stud to slide out).

Re: z-bar removal tricks?
yes I did make it that far, but I can only get it to where the stud almost clears. I wasn't sure if it was ok to pry it up with a big screw driver or if that was a big no-no.
