I'm Back Please Pray For Me

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

HEY ALL, I HAVE NOT BEEN IN TOUCH WITH ALL MY FRIENDS HERE ON THIS GREAT BOARD FOR A WHILE. I LOST MY WIFE OF 10 YEARS. SHE WENT HOME TO JESUS ON JUNE 27TH. AFTER A 9 MONTH BATTLE WITH LUNG CANCER. THAT IS WHY I HAVE NOT BEEN IN TOUCH FOR A LONG TIME. PLEASE PRAY FOR ME TO GET THROUGH THIS. NOW I GUESS I WILL GET BACK TO FINISHING TOUCHES ON MY TRUCK. TILT WHEEL THAT I HAD FINE 69 REBUILD FOR ME AND MY TACH DASH THAT I BOUGHT FROM HIM AS WELL. AND A LOT OF NEW ADD ONS TO MY TRUCK. I HOPE TO KEEP IN TOUCH WITH ALL MY TRUCK BUDS. I WAS CONCENTRATING ON ONE THING AND THAT WAS GETTING MY WIFE BACK ON HER FEET . BUT WE LOST THAT BATTLE AND NOW SHE IS IN THE BEST PLACE YOU CAN BE WITH OUR LORD JESUS . GOD BLESS ALL ON THIS BOARD AND PLEASE PRAY FOR ME .
THANKS YOUR TRUCK FRIEND . DANDELUXE

prayers

Dan, you will be included in our prayers and thoughts. I find these boards and trucks theropudic (spelling?) Please don't hesitate to ask for prayers, advise or to just let something out. Usually someone else can relate to most situations and can offer some "been there" advise or comfort. Take time to greave, it is natural. My wife doesn't always support my trucks but I couldn't imagine going through something like this. We were 6 cars behind a double fataility accident on Monday and that made us think a little more about the value of life and those around us.

Come back to the boards at your own speed, you were always a very good contributor and have a very nice truck. Working on your truck may be another channel to work with as a release of emotions and energy.

You did the right thing in spending quality time with your wife and your right she is in a better place now.

Fellow truck friend,

cheyenne10

You got it, pal. I can't imagine what you are going through, losing your mate. My mom died this past September, so I can feel some of what you feel. But, this forum is very supportive of each other. I think you can count on each one of us remembering you and your family as you continue to grieve.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss...cancer is sooooo evil! I have lost loved ones to that fight too! We are all here for you, with prayers, or just a listening ear. Hang in there and take it one day at a time. I wish your family the best in this hard time in your lives.
God bless-
Diane

Dan, I know your pain.I lost a wife to luekemia 10 years ago.I know how hard it is to get out of bed in the mornings. The best advice I can give you short term is to get up in the mornings, put one foot in front of the other and repeat. When you have those times of anger find a nice gravel road with a billboard and try to knock it down by throwing rocks. You will find it impossible to be angry if you are exhausted. If you need to talk my e-mail and PM are only a click away.
May gods blessing be on you and yours.

Dan- I too am very sorry for your loss. Unfortunately we can never predict how much time we have allotted on this Earth, but we need to take time to enjoy each moment to it's fullest. If there is anything I can do, don't hesitate to contact me...I live just outside of St. Louis and will do whatever I can to help. May God be with you and your Family in this trying time.
