The front inner wheel bearing seals aren't supposed to stick out any, are they?...

Re: Wheel bearing seals
No, the seals should sit flush with the back of the hub.

Re: Wheel bearing seals
There's another "Correct part"...
This $#!t is gettin annoying. How hard is it to find the correct seal for a Chevy hub? That's why I hate tellin the auto parts store what my truck is, it's like they instantly go retarded if they aren't already. |

Re: Wheel bearing seals
Anyone know what seal to run on the inside of the front hub for a 68 3/4 ton?...
Seems mine is about twice as "tall" "thick" whatever you like to call it. It sticks out so the hub/drum setup won't go all the way on the spindle... |

Re: Wheel bearing seals
I got the front seals for my '69 C-20 at NAPA. I looked up the part number online and went and picked them up.

Re: Wheel bearing seals
Yeah, I made sure they were seated up against the race evenly.
I got mine from Napa, the guys there usually find all my stuff the other retards can't, but they're quit a bit pricier. The seal I have from Napa is part number 21771 |

Re: Wheel bearing seals
The 3/4 & 1 ton seals dont fit all the way in. They will stick out about 1/8 in.
