Here's my LS1

Here is my setup. It is a 98 corvette LS1 rated at 345hp. My friend just fabricated up the air intake pipe. I think I'm going to powder coat it a grey or black.

I'm taking it in next week for a dual stainless exhaust too.

I get 12mpg around town and over 20 on the highway. It sure is a lot of fun! Plus I can tune it all on my laptop.

I DO want turbos! I can't hook up the tires as it is. I'm actually dropping my truck off Monday at Innovative Turbo Systems. But it's only to get a stainless exhaust by their fab shop. Hair dryers are out of my budget I guess I can dream......

Brad, tell him what he really needs. You don't need two blow dryers, you need eight of these...

Very, Very Nice! When you powder coat that intake pipe, I think you should go with black. That way it will not draw attention away from that beautiful engine.

Very nice installation. I would go with a gray tube...possibly even a textured powder (hammertone).

Wow...looks great!

Kinda weird looking at a motor in one of these trucks with no distributor or carb, lol. Lots of room in the engine bay

About how much lighter is the allumium LS1 compared to a old-style iron SBC?

Thanks for those awesome shots. Just wondering where the end of your intake goes. Plan to fab my own intake sometime down the line.

thanks,
Jay
