Re: how low can u go without bags?
you could do what I plan to do.. Get 4 air bags and just run schrader valves to air them to the heigth you want.. Just a suggestion..Then get the valves and compressor and tanks later.

Re: how low can u go without bags?
I guess I should point you in the right direction for your question.. You should be able to get lowering springs and drop spindles up front nad then lowering springs and blocks in the back.. I am unsure of the lowest possibilities for these trucks.. I know the lowest you can go with drop spindles is 2.5 inch or 3 inch if you convert to the 73 and later spindles. then in the back you could get 2 inch blocks.. The drop springs I am unsure on.. I have just springs on mine and its kind of low but not slammed. I could sell you my springs soon (-:

Re: how low can u go without bags?
On the cheep....you can cut 1 full ring off the bottom of the coils up front(gives about a 2 1/2" drop), then do a 2 " block on the rear. I trimmed the bump stops off my lower a arms, drill a hole & used a traction snubber for the new bumpstop. CrazyAL

Re: how low can u go without bags?
Do you have coils? With coils you can go 6" in the rear w/o a notch, but must be careful because it could bottom out.5" is the practical limit.By using drop springs you keep a good ride.Heating or cutting springs takes springs that were designed to be taller and altering them which alters the ride in a negative way.The cheapest thing to do is wait and do what you really want. The suggestion of manual fill bags in place of coils is a good one.You will still need to notch the rear frame and drop spindles will help maintain proper geometry.
