Man That looks like it hurts, sorry for the truck and you.
Pics when you rescue the truck from the tree that attacked it.

Re: Look at what i came home to....
Man that really sucks. Is your truck lowered or is that the weight of the tree?

Ouch! I hope that turns out to be not too bad, it's kind of hard to tell from the pictures.

Re: Look at what i came home to....
I do not actually see any damage...I see a tree growing out of your bed...maybe you should move the truck once in a while...you know...so the trees don't grow in your bed.

Re: Look at what i came home to....
Hello 72RustBuckett,
Man, sorry to see and hear that this happened. I hope the truck is salvageable. I like the color and the hubcaps. Good luck on getting that tree removed and the truck back out on the road. Respectfully

Re: Look at what i came home to....
From what i can see the bed rail is bent down bad. A big branch fell on the cab can see a couple of dents on cab. The door is sticking out about 1 1\2 inches which is bad at the bottom. And of course many dents and scraps from the branch. I think the worst part is the truck was just painted completely in and out 3 months ago.The truck was lowered but the weight of the tree has lowered it alot.

Re: Look at what i came home to....
Not too bad. Could have been a LOT worse.
When I was a little kid, my sister took Mom & Dad's new '58 Nomad wagon (fortunately NOT one of the cool Chevy 55 - 57 Nomads) to Wed nite church & choir practice. Thunderstorm came & went, & she called my Dad & said: "A tree limb fell on the car & the paint's scratched up some." When she didn't come home after an hour or two, my Dad & I hopped in the old farm truck went down there to see them cutting a SIX-to-EIGHT FOOT TRUNK maple tree off the car roof. Yeah, the paint was scratched up some...... & the frame was touching the street under the doors. And one of the rear wheels was up in the air when the tree trunk was gone off the car. Later (after Dad got over being mad), we all laughed about that for years & years. "The paint's scratched up some......." |
