dash pad replacement
how many screws are there?............how do you get to them......

Actual screws..4
however, on the back side (under dash) there are 6 or so nuts. 3/8 head if memory serves, but it's been a couple years. If you have A/C, it'll be a real PITA. Inst panel removal and glove box liner removal makes it 10 times easier. |

Yeah, you need to use a little hand driver and reach way up behind the dash and feel for those little buggers. There were 6 of them on mine if memory serves. One right behind the center of the glovebox that required the glovebox liner to be removed.

Its the inside corner edge ones that drive me nuts trying to get too...the one above the radio aint so easy to get either. I used to have a little 1/4 inch drive flex shaft driver that I put the socket on..that worked good.

i have one that i bought a year ago at the lowes autofair........i need to install it .........the wife questioning all my parts, and why do i buy them if i don,t install them.......but she do'nt understand .......you start taking the truck apart to do on thing and you wind up find more that needs to be done -----------before you can get back to the original thing you were doing..............that is the way it goes for me!!!!!!!!
