Made a little progress
SO I have made some progress on my 69. Hopefully I get the fenders on tommorrow. I have the back of the cab and the interior and the fire wall painted. Everything else except the bed is primed and ready. Here are a few pics. The color is gun metal gray.

Re: Made a little progress
OK I think I got it.
The color is gun metal gray. This is my first paint job and I am no pro so feel free to critique. Hopefully tommorrow I can get the fendrs, hood and cowl on. I have some welding o do to the bed before I get it in place, but I hope to have it done by the end of May.

It looks like it's coming along pretty good, keep up the good work!
Yeah, I agree with Highsteel..... from the title, I thought you dug on hell of a trench or got pissed at your ride and smashed it....

Re: Made a little progress
Cool man! I love that color! It looks pretty matte in the pics. Why not shave that firewall while its all apart?

Re: Made a little progress
Sorry about the rock saw pic, clicked the wrong one. Then my others were to big to upload.
chevy72blu It does look Matte in the pics, but its like a cave in the shop so the gloss isn't coming out real well in the pic. Don't think I am going to shave the firewall, kinda in a time crunch now. Getting busy with work. mahanian That saw cuts most of our trenchs up to 8' deep, 26" wide the bigger and deeper stuff we use DYNAMITE. All we have here is rock, little dirt so we have to cut or blast most stuff. HoupPhotography there are times I want to smash my truck with that thing, it would take away some of my frustrations. Highsteel Hey, glad to know there is another guy from Idaho one here. Sometimes I wonder if we're in another world out here.
