High Hump vs Low Hump Carpet

Is there really that much difference? I might be able to get a good deal on some carpet but it might be from a high hump truck.

If I remember right the high hump is 3+ inches taller and more squared off than the low hump.

If nobody will be sitting in the middle squashing it down, you could put something under the carpet to build the hump up. something like insulation or whatever will fill the void. just an idea....
