Seat belts
My 67 is fun to drive, but I sure would feel better if I had a shoulder-strap seat belt setup. Anybody put shoulder strap seat belts in their old truck and wanna share what a good option is ? thanks alot in advance for saving my life.

Not in mine, but LMC sells some shoulder belts if that helps any.

There is also a thread on using belts from an S10.They would probably be cheaper but they would be used and might have some rot.It's your safety......

I bought three-point seatbelts from Seatbelt Planet in Oklahoma City. Bolted right in. Only thing I don't like is when you go to put them on you have to pull slowly. But it's not too bad once you get the hang of it.

I called seatbelt solutions and they made me a custom set of 3 point belts/. they sewed on original style buckles and latches for no extra charge and they look right at home now!

X2 on Seatbelt Solutions. I was going to buy aftermarket 3 point belts but I didn't like the generic looking buckles. So I worked with Eric at Seatbelt Solutions and he made me a super sweet custom set. I sent him my original buckles, tongues and anchors and 2 days later he sent back a complete set of seatbelts for my bench seat (a pair of 3 points with retractors and 1 lap belt). He used 3 panel webbing just like OE. $275 plus shipping was the cost. It was a tough decision cutting up my OE belts, but the results made it worth the agony. Now I have modern safety with a vintage feel. For those without OE belts or unwilling to sacrifice them, Seatbelt Solutions has a nice reproduction GM buckle available. Ask for Eric, you'll be very pleased with the quality and customer service!

my wife's truck has some from seatbelt planet bolted right in she bought the non retractable type, no complaints with them and i'm a anti-seatbelt kind of guy i hate wearing them but know i need to. i still have lap belts in my 71 but plan to upgrade

Do seatbelts from a 73-87 c10 not work? Those are more comon in the wrecking yards around here.
