Goodman, if you don’t have a good one, find a lightly surface rusted one and soak it in evaporust. It will look NOS. You can clear it in satin or flat clear. Repaint the black if needed. I can’t remember ever seeing a broken unit.

Just to clarify, this one is back in use on my Blazer. Sharing just to illustrate that the assemblies clean up well with Evaporust. You could use Boeshield spray after to help preserve the bare metal.
