71 3/4 ton stepside bed and rolling frame w/ 292 and 4 speed. From arizona. Very solid. Has the utility fenders that bolt on in place of the factory fenders. Wood floor needs replaced. Gate is straight (has some surface rust). Eaton rear. Coil spring suspension with helpers. Nice frame and trailing arms. Don't know much about the motor. Someone had started painteing and detailing it. Front disc brakes. Cab is not included. $500.

This is killing me.I have been looking for those boxes forever.I have a decent long Stepside bed except a rusty spot on each side of the top rail from a cap sitting on it since new.The floor is great.Fenders only have rust in lower fronts,no dents,original paint.
Hmmm...do I get this and sell the bed off my white GMC???
Are the tool boxes in nice condition.I`m thinking if they look good,then I will take it.Just my style there.

Some may cringe.But,it would be my dream to have a Sierra Grande work truck.Those beds look good being low profile and narrow.Can`t beat a Stepside,I mean Fenderside gate on the back.It would be nice if that 292 was a good one,too.I keep leaning towards a built 292 in my shortbed Stepside 4wd with K/30 axles.You wouldn`t happen to know the ratio in that rear?Just thinking I could offer that with my Wrecker if someone doesn`t need to haul as much.That thing has 5.13s,now.

Here's some more pics. Found the lights. Only rust in the bed I could find was on driver side on the inside lip for about 3" (see pic). Tailgate has a few dents. Utility fenders are solid, but not 100% ding free. There are a few bumps/bruises here/there. Very fixable. Let me know if you need any more pics.

Jeff, long story I'll try to make short. Disc brakes on the chassis may be gone. Tailgate is also a maybe. The 292 and 4 speed are gone. The cab and front clip were being saved for a shortbed project I was piecing together (have fleet bed, frame, etc.). Only way I'd sell cab is if someone took all of the shortbed fleet project. So, all I have left is the bed itself and frame minus the front discs. The trailing arms are solid. Has overloads. I'd sell the bed minus gate for $275 or with rest of frame $325. You could haul the bed in a truck or tow the frame/bed with a dolly. If the gate/disc set-up don't sell, I'll let you know. Brian

Ok, I figured the cab was not for sale. Your bed is still in the running, logistics may make it a no go, so no worries. Grendel has a fleetside much closer that may fit the bill.
