Emergency brake cable routing
Did a ton of research last night but still confused. I'm working on a 70 K10 Suburban but I figure a long bed K10 should be pretty much the same. First I lost the frame piece that holds the end of the front cable under the cab. I've got a new front and intermediate cables from LMC. The intermediate cable I got is for a 4WD longbed and it seems too short. On the other hand the front cable I got (that matches the cable I took out) seems way too long. If the end of the front cable goes into the missing frame piece then it is really long. However if I make or buy a new cable frame location piece and change the spot where it goes on the frame everything seems like it will work out. Attached are a bunch of pictures that are either from my truck when I tore it apart or from here.

Re: Emergency brake cable routing
Never mind. Figured it out. The rear emergency brake cables are too short. If they were the correct length then everything else would fall into place! LMC doesn't carry cables for a long bed 4WD truck!
