Very different customization

This is at a used car lot on Hwy 169 by Belle Plain, MN. Not mine and I'm not helping anyone out. Just thought the curious may want to see it for themselves. Personally, even if it had been done better, I don't care for it. But to each his own...

Re: Very different customization

Actually if you removed the mustang sticker, the dodge V8 magnum badge and the "C" scoop in between it would look a lot better. A few other details like rolling the front wheel well to better match the rear and replacing the wheels/tires, to name a few, and I think it would make a pretty nice truck. It definitely was only done half-assed(read better than I could do) but it should clean up to a good looking ride, and it is definitely different. He could have always put a F-150 front clip on it.

I didn't realize you could buy "bondo" in 55 gallon drums.

Actually took me a minute to realize what that really was!!......I then crapped a twinky!!!

Re: Very different customization

It's more like one of those morphing pictures where a 67 turns into a 97! Except this picture stalled in the middle!

Somewhere, someone is smiling because of the work he put into creating this thing, thinking it is the greatest thing anyone ever did.

Then, it makes me think of the phrase we used to use about it "looking like the afterbirth of a grudge ...."

Re: Very different customization

I have seen a lot worse. Those few little trim pieces mentioned above definitely look out of place.

It is the thought that counts

Re: Very different customization

I think it needs some 3/4 ton front springs to hold up all that bondo. It looks to be sagging a bit.

Re: Very different customization

I can't tell if that hood is wavy on the passenger side from bondo or beating it with an old 2x4. I definitely have to look at some other rides before I go to bed so I don't have nightmares!!!

"Onstar. How can I help you?"
-I can't believe what I did to my classic Chevy truck.-
"No Problem sir. Step away from the truck, and I can short out the battery and burn it from here".
