burb qtr/pu box ?
drove my burb over to the guy thats gonna do my patch panel replacement today to get any input he might have before i yank the body off. not a lot of rust so no big deal for him. but he did look at this qtr thats been repaired and said i should prepare for the worst. to me it looked fine until his trained eye started pointing out alot of stuff for me...ugh !!!! im going to have the whole body media blasted so ill know the whole scoop soon enough. my question is this...if i need to have a bunch of it replaced are long box pick up sides a match as far as contour and wheel arch are concerened? i realize there are alot of differences once you get higher up on the box above the top of the wheel well arch but maybe below that its able to be patched in? or maybe its all wishfull thinking. ive never seen a repop burb qtr for sale yet.

There are some Burb patch panels available such as the lower rear quarters.
Also, the wheel arch is available. Here is a link to GMC Pauls site. Jim http://www.gmcpauls.com/bed_patch_panels.htm |

Here's a little illustration I did showing the fitment areas of the patch panels offered... This may help you decide which one(s) you need...

Hey, just think... I've got 2 that I need 1/4's for...I wish someone made them. Would be much easier in the long run to put them on rathrt than piecing 3 or 4 panels together and getting everything lined up straight again. My 71' Burb isn't too bad. I can get away with just the lowers but the 72' I will be getting from Cheesewagon this weekend needs arches too...
