Re: 95 camaro rear end ??

Just cut the camaro mounting stuff off, buy the correct pads for your application and weld them on, making sure of the pinion angle. You may have fun finding brake lines to fit (go to ss brake lines and have them custom made) cause the Camaro will have metric fittings. I was going to go with a Caprice rear, cause they have discs and the same bolt pattern as the 5 lug trucks. Good luck.

Re: 95 camaro rear end ??

if you are just doing it for the disks, why not just convert your truck parts to disk instead of degrading your rear axle?

Disks won't help you much onless you are always hauling a butt load of weight, or in the mud.

keep the axle! Do you have discs up front? Cause that is all you need 4 real.

Re: 95 camaro rear end ??

there is plenty of rear disc kits for your truck without changing the entire rear end.

You don't want that rear. It's only a 7.5" 10 bolt. They're really easy to break.

Re: 95 camaro rear end ??

I kept my 12 bolt-threw in an Eaton posi and incorporated '95 Caprice 9C1 disc brakes on mine. Better to have a strong rear IMO. You just come up with a bracket to hold the calipers on. There is a thread by 383Stroker here somewhere with dimensions on the bracket-that's what i used. I'll try to find the link.
