WIW complete running 402 with all brackets
I found a truck I'm thinking about buying, I HAVE NOT BOUGHT IT SO THIS IS NOT A FOR SALE THREAD.
Its a 72 chevy all original with a complete running 402 with all AC brackets, PS stuff, pullies, air cleaner, everything from what I can see in pic. I was wondering what I could possibly get out of the motor/tranny and all AC and PS brackets and pullies, COMPLETE without spliting up everything. I'm just wanting some of the body parts off the truck. Thanks for the help. Randy

Re: WIW complete running 402 with all brackets
i've seen a few bigblocks complete ,were described as heavy smokers and knockers with prices in the 500-800 range// i thought were really overpriced
they were later 70's motors/one a pickup the other a motor home

Re: WIW complete running 402 with all brackets
Randy, up here would bring anywhere from $700 to $1000 complete and if you can hear it run/drive it. There are always exceptions to the rules... Eric

Re: WIW complete running 402 with all brackets
Thanks guys, I appreciate it. It might be worth more if I break it all up. I priced a set of AC brackets a month ago and they are going for $300. I haven't kept up with the pullies, PS stuff lately. I'll have to do some thinking on it all. Thanks Randy

Re: WIW complete running 402 with all brackets
I'd love to find a setup like that. It would be a sweet swap into my '72. If it really did run good and was all complete with AC/PS and th400, I would be happy to pay a grand for it. Wish you were closer.
