72 tilt wheel question ( shift lever)
I have tried to buy 2 different shift levers for my tilt wheel.
Can anyone tell me if they had same problem if so how to fix it. I was thinking about putting the notch in the new part but wanted to make sure it would work before i did.I bought the lever from LMC they are telling me its the right part. They don't even look the same. Thanks for any help... |

Re: 72 tilt wheel question ( shift lever)
Not sure if the curve would matter, but that notch is not supposed to be there. They wear into them, I usually weld that back up in an original lever to make it work in the detent better.

I also replaced mine with LMC. My old one had the worn groove too.
The LMC should fit, have you lifted the little spring out of the way? |

Do you know if the slight curve makes any difference. |
