Looking at a truck

I'm looking at a truck add, and wondering what might be too much to pay for a C10 LWB with 6 cyl and 4 speed with 6 lug, body seems fairly straight and all original. I don't wanna get hosed on the deal

I tried NADA but they only seem to quote restored classic prices

Re: Looking at a truck

In Phoenix they will go for between $1500 and $3000 provided there isn't too much rust in fair shape. Nice ones will go between $5000 and $8000 from what I have seen.

Re: Looking at a truck

Hard to say without pictures and a discription.

Could be anywhere from 500 to 20,000

Re: Looking at a truck

I could post it but i think i'd be doing a disservice to fellow board members, what looked like a jewel in the ruff was just rough.

I think the truck might have a little potential but not at the price he was asking, funny how an add will say first reasonable offer then he texts and says a firm price. The entire floor probably needed replaced, cab corners and the usual rocker stuff, it looked like he took a torch or plasma cutter to one of the inner kickers and cut a straight vertical line from the floor up to past the vent, don't know why but the cut was starting to cancer out as well. Just a lot more work than i wanna do, but for someone else??? It had a bit of bondo too
If he would lower the price it might be worth it.
