Well,

Being a mechanic and having built quite a few engines over the years, I wouldn't buy a "REBUILT" engine from anyone. I'd spend a little more and buy a NEW crate engine with a better/longer GM backed warranty;

i just read on the site that they dont break the engines in before they give them to you. so how do know #1 if it works, and #2 what the dyno numbers are?

look up blueprint engines on summit racing. lots of power and torque, they use brand name parts, and offer a very nice warranty. (30-month 50,000 mile)
and you can get them turn-key or as a long block. i will be putting one of these motors in my truck when the time comes.
