what to do with hood
I was wondering what to do with my hood. i got the whole front clip sandblasted but was wondering what to do with the hood. can i have it blasted or what?

Media blast or Soda, I wouldn't do sand. It gets hot as the particles hit the metal and cause friction and it can warp hoods and larger pieces. Make sure you get someone who truly does it for a living and / or knows what they're doing or it can ruin your hood.

I lost two perfectly good hoods due to blasting (soda). The first was a primo stock 68' hood. It was flawless! Took it to the same business that blasted my cab & doors. They ended up warping the hood. They replaced it with another original stock hood. They assured me they would take their time and watch the heat. Once again, they warped the hood. After that they gave up and bought me a new repop hood. Two good original hoods lost and I ended up with a repop! I was pissed. I'll never again have a hood blasted. Find a place that will chemical dip it.
