Power steering brackets
I want to put a Saginaw type power steering pump on my 235 six cylinder truck. After much research, I think fellow forum member Drummin89 manufactures what looks to be the best and cheapest brackets for the power steering pump and alternator. The problem is I have tried to contact him by email and personal message on this forum an another forum that he has advertised this product on and I can't get a reply. Does anybody know if he is still making and selling these brackets? Does anybody have a phone number for him? Any suggestions how to contact him? Help! Thanks in advance. Gary

Re: Power steering brackets
Drummin89 hasn't been on here since 11/13 but maybe has his pm set up to email notification
realistically power steering brackets are easy to make with 10 ga flat plat and some 3/8'' tubing the tools i used were a grinder with cutoff wheel, drill and welder i have maybe $2 in this bracket for a sbc, it's not rocket science

Re: Power steering brackets
I've saved a link to what I am pretty sure is his Ebay store Because he has brackets for my 292.
See if this is what you want or use the see other items link to see everything he has as he has a couple of options on what you are looking for. http://www.ebay.com/itm/10031-ALTERN...m4af2bf20fa:g:

Re: Power steering brackets
What i built mine a few years ago I think I did see his design once. Is it the one with the tall vertical arms on the outside that are held together with the single bolt and the one that used the modified head bolt? I just Wanted mine cleaner looking so i made it more compact so the alternator does not sit way high up above the manifold. I still need to make a shorter top alt adjuster bracket as you can see in the picture it too long. I can adjust the tension on either component very easy and independently without one adjustment affecting the other. Also get easy access to the power steering fill cap. The setup is a solid as a rock.

Re: Power steering brackets
Not cheap but it saves you what could amount to several days of trial and error fabricating for most of us to build something similar. My small metal piece tub is full of pieces of metal that I cut and drilled and then tossed in the tub to cut and drill again after that one didn't work.
