ReBirth: My 71' custom 10

Ok ...Ill Admit ive torn this ol truck up . ive torn it apart and put it back together halfass. I'm Gonna just Completley start over Starting tomarrow. The truck needs alot of work and I need to start puttin a little more pride in my work. So here we go the Re-Begin of my Build.

This is my 1971 Chevy custom 10, it has 93,000 original miles on the spidometer. Small block 350/Turbo-hydramatic 350. I paid 800$ for this truck.

Plans :
1.Get Running (Strong)
2.3 inch drop on front and rear
3. wood bed
4.Black out

Thoughts ??

here is the current Status :

You are on target.

Safety items first and then knock of your list one at a time.

Good luck.

Looks like your truck has good bones and its a keeper

Looks like a good start. I think the first item of business should be removing the number from the door. It makes it look like it's ready to be used in the next crash derby lol

Your truck probrolly has one if it was three on the tree or automatic. High humps were a little taller and were used on four wheel drive or four speed manual on the floor.

Looks like a good start. Its funny..you have the only other set of Holley valve covers I've ever seen. I just put mine on Friday. night after carrying them around for 25 years. The interior looks really good. Keep up the good work. Chris

You're making me nervous with those ramps. I was smashed under a 63 impala cause one gave way. chock the wheels and put some stands under there for back up... done with my safety lecture now....
