WTB
NOS or excellent-used Parchment (white) door panels. I want the '72 panels for Cheyenne (Scroll pattern inside stainless trim). Please attach photos if possible. Thanks! |

Re: WTB Excellent Parchment Door Panels
I've only seen one very good set in 27 years and sorry I sold them. I have a set that has been painted over but have one member interested. If he passes I'll send you a PM if they clean up good. Good luck. Mike

Re: WTB Excellent Parchment Door Panels
Good luck! I searched for ages and never found any. I ended up having a set lightly sandblasted and then painted. They've been holding up good so far. I can get you a pic of how they turned out if you like.

Re: WTB Excellent Parchment Door Panels
I hope to plant the seed in everyone's mind to watch for an excellent set of these door panels. I will pay $350 for the right set. I am not in a hurry, the door panels I have are presentable but they are the weakest part of my interior.
Please keep your eyes open for these! |

Re: WTB Excellent Parchment Door Panels
If you already have a decent set you should be able to make them look tip top for less than you're willing to spend on replacements. The first two pics are with a flash.
Without a flash. Detail without flash. These panels were chalky and had scratches in them when I started with em. We pulled the trim and lightly sandblasted them which made a dramatic improvement. I then took them to a body shop that I've been using and I think he passed them on to an interior shop. I really don't know what they used on them but it's been holding up well. |

Re: WTB Excellent Parchment Door Panels
If it helps I sent a PM last night offering to buy both pairs. I still plan to buy both sets. Every truck I buy seems to have a parchment interior. Coincidence? I don't know.

Re: WTB Excellent Parchment Door Panels
Just to be clear, I am friends with DANTIP and have already checked with him about the panels. I would not try to buy them out from under him.

Re: WTB Excellent Parchment Door Panels
Sorry, I have been out of town. I did not mean to cause a problem. Dantip is first then Joesjunk. They may be priced so high that nobody wants them anyway.
They are my original panels that have been redone and have had the woodgrain inserts redone also. I paid $400 for them and need to get that back for them. I found a set of NOS woodgrain inserts that a guy is selling with doorpanels is the only reason I want to sell these......Jason
