Re: light green popularity?
In the late 60's and early 70's "Green" was a hot color. When I was 16-18 yrs old and I hated greens but now...that I am an old geezer I like Green. ie: The Circuit Rider.

Re: light green popularity?
Prior to the mid 50's black was the predominate color so a change to something different was welcome by a lot of people. About 15+ yrs ago gray tones -light to dark- was very common. All manufacturers introduce certain colors for recognition purposes and to see if they can induce people to buy. Basically, they will test the color in certain areas and if it has positive results, they will use it as standard color.
Lately I've noticed more cars getting away from the gray tones to the lighter earthy colors. Just my observation in this parts. |
