How many blots hold the engine cradle to the frame?
Holy smokes... how many blots hold the engine cradle to the frame of a 69 truck 2wd? I counted 4 per upper control arm and 3 bolts on each side lower frame. Am I missing something? I thought for sure this would fall right out...

Ha Ha those came off first. It must be rust holding this together. I have two frames and I noticed something cool. One has the engine (hold down/ loop on the LH side of the frame)? riveted to the frame and the other is bolted on the frame.

That should be all of them if you are talking about the crossmember. Might want to whack it with a sledge to break it loose. Could be bound up between the frame rails a little.

The pic isn't the best but you'll get the idea.

Re: How many blots hold the engine cradle to the frame?
Thanks Reno, that's what I thought. This frame has been sitting exposed to the weather so it looks like time for the B.F.H.
